I took this to a dirt parking lot to try it out. It handled the dirt and ruts... okay. It's /really/ lightweight and the ruts and larger loose rocks could overturn this. It's a good design but could definitely benefit from a heavier frame and stronger motor. It'll climb up to maybe a 2" mount without needing to head at it full speed, otherwise it'll tucker itself out trying and stop moving/climbing when the throttle's still on.It does have a really solid range though. I got it about 150 feet before it started to show signs of signal loss. It runs okay in short grass but it got stuck in a grassy ditch on me. The tires have good treads, but again it's too light to really have a great amount of traction.All in all I really do like this one, I just wish it was heavier and stronger.

Awesome RC car. I actually bought it to entertain my cat and I am having way more fun with it though he loves it also. Cat actually pesters me to bring it out to play. Perfect size, not too small not too large. Works great inside or outside on paved roads. Plenty fast but not too fast, very durable as I’ve crashed it against the wall a few times and no breakage. Coming with two rechargeable batteries is great. Charge always lasts longer than my playtime on just one battery. And fantastic price! Forgot to mention it is also a great looking little vehicle.
