This DEERC Apache RC Helicopter is powerful and very fun to fly. I would suggest indoor flight with no obstacles while you learn. It’s very user friendly and easy to use right out of the box. Install your batteries, read the included owners manual (strongly recommend) and you’re ready to fly. I was able to fly this outdoors but only on days with little to no wind, and at lower altitude of around 10ft. The controller makes takeoff and landing super simple by having the option for auto takeoff with a click of a button and auto landing. You will be able to fly the helicopter for about 12-15 minutes per charge roughly depending on how you fly. The batteries take about 2 hours to charge and you’re ready for another flight. Overall this thing is very stable while flying, and is very sturdy. I crashed it into the walls at least 5 times and aside from a few scuffs on the blades, the helicopter was unscathed and ready to fly again after a quick reset.

The size of this helicopter is absolutely perfect for beginner flight. Very easy to use and very easy to fly. Super fun and extremely durable. A great value for a beginner helicopter. The functions of the controller are spot on with zero lag. You can do one button take off as well as landing. You can turn the LED lights on and off via the remote, multiple speed settings from slow to very fast depending upon your experience with RC helicopters. You can absolutely set the trim on them just by the push of a button as if it starts twisting to the left you hit the right trim button and it'll correct itself. Just a fun and exciting toy to play with for every age group
