This RC is quick with a good turning radius. Tires are wide with slight give so they do well in almost all terrain and the suspension is good enough to take bumps at a high speed. I like how when you hit a bump or lip of the sidewalk the nose/front end points straight up as it hops over obstacles. I enjoyed driving this RC, it has good acceleration which reaches a good top speed not sure it does 25 mph but it's plenty fast. I flipped it only once due to the wide stance and 4WD set up it handles well through turns. The body is cool looking (Blue) and tough enough to take hits without breaking or cracking and if by some chance you manage to break it you have a second equally cool body in green. The controller has good signal reach and can be set to whatever trim/speed you'd like and has a very good response time. There is a delay when switching from forward to reverse but most have that. Charge times vary depending on your charger but figure about 1.5+ hours and a good 30 minutes of hard run time per battery. (You get 2)

I am very impressed with this car. The quality is very good. Very well put together and ready to go out of the box. Be careful with the different shells – those are delicate. The rest of the car is sturdy and well built. The tires/wheels are good quality, soft rubber and have a great grip. They are not those plastic slick-bottom tires that spin out. These are all-terrain. The car has a fully functioning suspension. I’m also very impressed with the power this RC toy has. Tested the car in the house and the toy was powerful enough to be difficult to control inside. The real character came from outdoor testing. This car can GO! Tall grass, short grass, driveway, this car took all of the different surfaces with ease and without slipping or spinning out. The toy comes with two battery packs, which is a very nice touch. One can charge while the other is in use. Don’t think that because you get two battery packs that this car blows through the battery. The battery life is long. I ran the car hard over/full throttle for 20 straight minutes and then did several maneuvers. Full charge lasted nearly an hour of high-performance play. This is perfect for two kids because each one can have a fair turn. The price point is a little higher than similar toys, but you really get what you pay for out of this RC car. I highly recommend this toy.

This R/C truck is built to last! It appears to be very well made. It's heavier than anticipated, likely due to the metal parts used in many of the components. This is great because it should give you significantly more life out of the vehicle. The remote control paired instantly and you have steering and throttle control from the controller. The shipping was quick and the product was packaged well. It's a blast to drive and does well on a variety of surfaces. It's a blast in the dirt and looks extra cool at night with the built-in LED lights!

This Rc car is a lot of fun! Not a speed race car, but great for kids or adults trying to get into rc cars. SO much fun! As you can tell from the picture my family had fun running this car around outside in the mud even! Great Rc, battery will last about an hour. Comes with changeable top, so can be green or blue. Great overall starter rc! Highly recommend

This 1/16 RC car from DeeRC is fun for kids. It features two body shells that look like a dinosaur head at the front. The bodies have tethered clips, which is a nice touch. It has lights in the front bumper and blue accent lights in the bottom of the chassis. It comes with two L-ion batteries with an SM-3P plug, something DeeRC likes to do. This unfortunately means that you likely can’t use other batteries you may have. A Deans plug would have been better for wider compatibility. The included charger is a USB type. This car has a brushed motor, so you won’t be breaking any land speed records, but it’s fast enough for a kid. The tires are hollow (no foam) and not glued. For the speed of this car, it’s fine. It has a wheelie bar, but you won’t need it because you will never pull a wheelie with the car. It has non-adjustable upper arms, turnbuckles, and steering links. But it does have an all-metal drivetrain, which is interesting. The motor has a plastic cover over it, presumably to keep kids from burning their fingers on a hot motor. It has friction shocks, which I don’t like, but for a kid’s RC that is not fast, they work alright.Overall, I think for the price, this is a decent RC car for a child. It would make a great gift.
