I tried to fly in an area with too many trees. I kept running into them. With a little bit of practice, you could actually fly in a smaller area, but don't start that way. I thought I charged the battery, but the runtime seemed to be only about five minutes. It does have two batteries, so you could swap it out and go to the next one. It is made of styrofoam, and it's flexible and durable. I slid into the grass and bumped into a few tree branches and never had any damage. If you fly straight into a wall, you're likely to have some major damage. If you find some rubber cement type glue that does not dissolve styrofoam, you can just glue things back together. The rear rudder has a screw that holds it together. I found it it flies just fine and the rudder does not come out, even without the screw. It makes it easier to put back in the box.If you can just pull the rudder out. This model has a single drive propeller in the rear, kind of like a jet engine. Steering is accomplished by 2 independently controlled elevators in the rear.A fun toy for adults or kids. Would make a good gift also. It is easy enough, I think a reasonably coordinated kid of 6 or 7 could fly this.
