This little RC was just perfect. Its a lot more advanced than a beginners RC car with weight, speed, and maneuverability. My boys has ran the wheels off this little car. The batteries don't take a tremendous time charging and it runs quite a while on a single charge. This little thing is super fast, While I'd like to see a better controller with it, it does do what it's supposed to do without any problems and functions just as good as any top end controller. At this price point it's just right in line with many other manufacturers.

I liked this little RC car. It was fun fast and controllable. I wouldn't call this hobbyist grade, but its kinda close. There’re adjustable steering angle, and speed limiters on the remote. I ill say that the remote is a little cheap, and flimsy. I didn't have any problems with it. The bumpers and suspension pieces give it a loose and bouncy ride. So it's definitely not a top notch hobbyist RC car. I would call it a good Christmas present for a non enthusiast. At $89.99 not too bad for what you get in the box.

Good width and stance which helps it get around easier. Thick yet flexible tires help it climb well and run on all kinds of terrain with no issues. Width stance helps it not flip as easy and keeps it balanced when on rough terrain or jumping. Good response time quick takeoff and good braking. Jumps well can take a hit and be tumbled all over the place without breaking. Raced it on a track and while it was not as quick as the $400 RC Buggys it had no problem getting through the track in good time. Would do well in an amateur race. Controller has good response and reach but it was a bit simple, I expected a bit more control options for settings like trim, speed, turn radius etc. Came with 2 batteries and they last a good while, roughly 18min each. Great RC truck very fun and easy to control. Response speed can be turned down for beginners improving overall control.

I love driving this thing around. I just goof around with it in my front yard and in the road. Its just fun. I am old school and prefer the driving sticks as opposed to the trigger and steering wheel but that is just a personal preference. I noticed I cant instantly reverse like I could back in the day. I don't know if this is a new protective feature or just a limitation but it makes it harder for me to slide it around.Comes with two batteries and I would say they last a good amount of time. 15 to 20 minutes, but this is likely because I am driving it on the fastest speed. The variable speed is nice to have when letting my young children have a turn. I can't speak to the build quality it is the first one I have had in 30 years but it seems to be built well.

If you're looking to get into a true, hobby-grade radio-controlled, off-road racing truck, with digital proportional controls and a real independent suspension, you're not going to find one for less than what DeeRC is asking for their 9003E.This is a comprehensive package, with everything you need. And this model in particular is a great one to try if you're new to off-road racing and stunt driving. This one is easy to control, and while it's very quick, it's not as insanely overpowered as some of DeeRC's more expensive offerings, so you're not likely to experience a steep learning curve.This is a darned fine machine and I'm glad I ordered it.
