I have reviewed several products from this company DEERC mostly RC trucks and they were all excellent quality. Same for this airplane. Realize of course that this is a super light weight foam airplane with lightweight everything - servos, motors, etc. Good news is the foam is really durable and can take being smacked into the ground and basically just bend it back straight. The real secret of this airplane is a six axis gyro, which essentially makes it fly itself with minimal guidance by you to drive it around the sky. On the other hand, this plane is really fast so make sure if you're taking it out to the park you have more than just a small park and probably avoid anything in the way wind more than a zephyr of wind.

Let me start by saying this plane is durable. It isn't super small. It will go very high. It's motor is not crazy strong, but it did survive a mild wind and for that I was very impressed. You need a lot of space to fly this as it is not a small toy for kids around the house, but more of an adult rc plane. Kids could use it as well but would need a basic understanding before take off. We had a really fun time with this. It did get caught in the wind and flew 400 ft in the air, made it three blocks away and survived no issues so theres that for its quality. I also flew it into the car tire and it didn't break. It comes with multiple batteries and replacement parts. You will need three AAA batteries for the controller. This was a great purchase and if you have a lot of space (think football fields) then you could use this for a long time. The battery lasted a while as well! Would recommend!

Fun times for ever. I got this for a good friend's kids, but I didn't realize - it really flies. My wife & I decided it is better to keep for our selves as the kids are all under 12 and this is 14 and up - it is a lot of fun - this is our first remote controlled plane, We had a drone a couple months ago - but is blew away in high winds and we couldn't find it. This is much more entertaining and we know to only use it on calm days - in a park
