DEERC 2008-Blau 14" schnelles RC-Boot für Kinder & Erwachsene, 20+ MPH aktualisiertes ferngesteuertes Speedboot mit 2x1200mAh Akkus, selbstaufrichtendes wasserdichtes Boot-Spielzeug für Seen & Pools

Overall this is a great RC boat and a great addition to the DEERC boat family. Since there is a smaller DEERC boat (12”) which is also fantastic I will orient this review around what you get for the $20 extra you would spend on this slightly larger boat. This boat comes with a high torque brushed motor and a large capacity battery which gives you a very reliable setup and smooth driving capabilities (in fact of all the RC boats I have driven this one is one of the smoothest). The two extra inches really changes the dynamics of the boat compared to its smaller 12” sibling which zips around. Being a bit larger means that it turns and rides on the water more realistically but this also means it can’t make quite as sharp (or unrealistic) turns. As far as its speed capabilities go it’s not disappointing, it goes fast enough to be interesting but is not overpowering like the 3s models. For some reason DEERC included a different remote with this boat than the standard one they usually put with their mid tier models and honestly I actually like this one better. The question for you if you are looking at this model is whether to go with this option (a solid midsize boat with average handling and speed capabilities) downsize to a 10 or 12” and save $20 (small boat with same speed capabilities but less realistic handling) or upsize to a slightly bigger 3s model and shell out an additional $20-40 (similar handling capabilities but much more speed). If this will be your first boat in the RC world or if you are buying this for a child I would recommend this boat over a smaller one or a more expensive faster boat but if this is your second and you’re looking for something a little bigger I would go ahead and pay extra for the 3s. Overall good product that fills a gap in the RC small/midsize DEERC lineup.

At 14 inches this is a slightly smaller scaled down version of the bigger boats DeeRC sells, but still built to the same hobby grade build quality. It’s more expensive than some other brands in this size range, but there is a reason for that. This one is fast and it drives and handles more like a 19” hull, and the Li-Ion batteries provide surprisingly good performance and run time. The size is perfect for pools and small ponds but it will handle larger bodies of water just fine too. I also really liked the lights on this one because they are bright and easy to see.

Been using this DEERC RC boat at the local pool and lake and honestly it's impressive. The 20+ MPH speed is real, thing flies across the water and doesn't feel underpowered at all. Remote control is responsive with no lag, makes sharp turns and accelerates smoothly. The self-righting feature actually works which is the big deal — flips it or capsizes it and it just flips right back up ready to go again. Makes it way more fun knowing you don't have to fish it out every time something goes wrong. Build quality is solid, waterproof design means no worries splashing around. The two 1200mAh batteries give good runtime, maybe 15-20 minutes per battery depending on how hard you're pushing it. That's plenty for a full afternoon of play. Comes ready to go, took like 10 minutes to charge and start racing. Whether you're getting this for a kid or keeping one for yourself this is genuinely fun. Highly recommend for anyone who wants a quality RC boat.

My kids have been using this in a pool and small lake, and it’s surprisingly quick for its size. The boat responds well to the remote control, and it’s fast enough to keep things fun without being difficult to handle. I like that it comes with two batteries since that gives more run time before needing to recharge. The self-righting feature is also helpful because it gets the boat going again quickly if it flips over. The waterproof design has held up well around splashes and normal use, and setup was straightforward. A fun RC boat for both kids and adults that offers good speed and plenty of enjoyment on the water.

This RC boat is super fast! The video I’ve included shows the boat on the slowest speed, but it goes much faster than that. I do love that it has the ability to change the base speed because this is good for learning to control the boat and for allowing less-experienced users to try it out. Like all higher-end DEERC RC products, the boat comes with 2 batteries so one can be charging while the other is in use or you can have a spare battery when out at the lake. The boat responds easily and quickly to even slight turns — it is very responsive and very fun to zip around even my pool (excuse the leaves in my photo and video)! The boat comes with a stand which is great for display, but also for keeping the propeller and rudder safe when it isn’t in the water.
