This is a cool rc boat, the boat is pretty easy to control and it's pretty fast too, the boat has a brushless motor that is water cooled and the water cooling feature works well, the motor does get warm but so far it has not gotten real hot or overheated, the double haul top does a great job at keeping the water out of the hual, the auto righting feature also works really well and it's easy to do too, the boat stays fairly stable in rough or choppy water, although at high speeds it will catch some air when it hits a wave and more times than not the boat will capsize when it lands, the controller is pretty basic but works well and there is little to no delay between the controller and the boat, the range of the boat is pretty decent as is the battery life, all in all I am very happy with the overall quality and performance of this little rc boat.

I am not sure why I can’t upload a video but if I could, you will see how much fun this thing is. We took it in the lake, and was it ever fun to drive this. When it flips , you can flip it over and keep going. We’ve had the waves flip it over few times and no problem. Motor only works when it’s in the water, so it’s a bit unnerving g to throw in the water but sure enough it works as advertised. We don’t test the full speed but it goes. So much fun. Get it for your love ones and be will have so much fun with it.

I’ve owned a handful of RC boats over the years, and this one honestly punches above its price point. Right out of the box it feels more “hobby grade” than toy-grade, especially once you get it on the water.The brushless setup gives it noticeably better acceleration and top-end speed than the cheaper brushed boats. It gets up on plane quickly and stays stable even when the water gets a little choppy.Things I liked most:• Surprisingly fast for the size• Steering feels responsive and predictable• Self-righting feature actually works• Carrying case is a nice bonus• Two batteries make a huge difference for runtimeI was also happy to see the cooling system doing its job. Motor temps stayed reasonable after extended runs, which isn’t always the case with budget RC boats.

Okay so I’ve had a few RC boats before but nothing even close to this level. The brushless motor on this thing is no joke — hits 35+ KPH and feels like it’s going to fly off the water. Took it to the lake and people were stopping to watch. The self-righting feature is a lifesaver because at those speeds you WILL flip it, and it just pops right back up. Two batteries included is huge, you get a solid amount of run time before you’re done for the day. The metal drive shaft gives it that premium feel — this is clearly hobby grade, not some cheap toy. Carrying case keeps everything neat and protected. For $130 (especially with the coupon dropping it to $112) this is genuinely incredible value for what you’re getting. I am a long time rc enthusiast and have used and reviewed many DEERC products. When people ask me about theM because of the attractive price point, I normally tell them that bang for buck they are right on par with what my expectations would be for the price point, This product also fits right in with that. Of you're an experienced enthusiast of the hobby and want something that you can upgrade and make faster or want to be very fast and intricate out of the box, go with a name brand higher end rc, it will be way easier to modify and switch controllers to preference with and be just much more exciting... What's nice about DEERC products is they are ready to run out of the box and they are the entry level of hobby grade and bridge the gap between toy and hobby grade RCs. This boat arrived and I got out to play around with it and it is quite good. It has consumables that can be replaced with parts you can find, the speed isn't bad at rated around 20mph and although I don't have a gps on it by feel I would say that's pretty dead accurate, it looks absolutely great and comes with a nice case! I would recommend this to the person that is a casual rc enthusiast or an RC enthusiast that has a child to introduce them to the higher level of hobby grade from toy grade in an easy to control and durable package. Everything you need comes with it minus remote batteries which is standard. It's quick and easy to control and self-righting which is very nice, it's fast enough to not be boring yet not wildly fast to the point a less experienced person would easily wreck it. Toy grade boats fall below or approach this one's price point with way less performance and are usually really boring to drive around with very slow speeds and very sloppy handling and cheap plastic parts that break and you can't replace. Name brand hobby grade boats are normally larger and are around $200-300+ can be either a little or significantly faster, and come with the risk of breakage from speed. This is a great middle ground for beginners to learn on or casually play with without dumping tons of money into a boat. It looks great and and performs well for the category it is in and although the remote is obviously pretty cheaply made it is porportional steering and throttle and works relatively well. The hull, motor, and fin parts are far more robust than you grade and replaceable. It has it's place in the market for the price point and holds it very well in my opinion.
